A/N: Okay, we’re back! Though it has been a long time since we last updated…Unfortunately, our ultimatum was not reached (sob) but…I can’t help it…I just have to post this one!

Hinataluv: Whee! You’re here again! Thanks for reviewing and I do hope you’ll like this…

Sakuni: mamMie!!! Read this, and then tell me what you think (grin)

That goes for everyone as well. I really do hope that you’ll like it and LAUGH J Demanding aren’t I? Oh by the way, Never Ending Promise won’t be updated in a while…Though I’m already halfway through, and am starting what may be a sequel AND a prequel, the computer’s busted and so is the internet. So just a little patience, next time I update that, it’ll be five chapters longer (wide grin)…As long as Sakuni doesn’t keep on snatching my notebook away from me…

Rea: …What’ll I say?

Uhh…For the first time, she’s at a loss for words. O.O

Rea: I’m so sad…About…the reviews…I don’t feel like…continuing…

.

Rea: BUT…

Oh man…

Rea: …I like slave driving…

O.O

Rea: Especially crizarah

What the…?! SOMEBODY SAVE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

Rea: mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa

(Regulars’ POV)

Ryuzaki-sensei!”

We turned over to look at the venue which we were all trying so hard not to look at and found…

I think Mitsu-chan is dead!”

Tezuka lying on the ground, a large, ugly bruise on his forehead and half of the clipboard he once held beside him. The other one…was in the new manager’s hands.

It wasn’t my fault, it’s his,” she said in a singsong voice while pointing at a seemingly dead Tezuka.

Everyone was in shock – complete and utter shock – at what had transpired.

Ryu-za-ki-sen-sei…” Her voice was still the same she used earlier. “If he’s really dead, could you hurry and call the medics? I don’t want others to see the result of my crime – err, his suicide attempt.” Now she was smiling a smile that was not unlike Fuji’s – very sadistic while pretending to be innocent.

Half of the club fainted.

The Regulars were following Tezuka home. Why? Because he was going home…with the new manager.

“What’s Tezuka doing?” Oishi fretted. “He’s going to ruin his life by…!!”

“Calm down, fuku-buchou,” Momoshiro said coolly. “I’m sure they won’t do that.

Oishi stopped, causing the others to bump into him. “Do what?”

“What you had in mind,” Fuji said with his usual (sadistic) smile. “Saa, let’s keep quiet or they’re bound to notice us.”

“How did I end up going along with this stupidity anyway?” the freshman prodigy complained. Continue reading

“It’ll be a handicap match. You and Echizen against me, okay?” Momoshiro asked.

“No.” Momoshiro raised his brow at Yamato’s reply. “I don’t play Doubles.”

“Fine then, I’ll play against each of you, one on one,” Momoshiro shrugged. He turned to Ryoma as Yamato exited the court. “Which?”

“Smooth.”

“Which? Smooth?” Katsuo and Kachiro asked, confused at the two vocabularies.

“That’s why I don’t like beginners,” Horio said arrogantly. Holding up his racquet for demonstration, he explained, “Those are terms used to determine who serves first. If the grip faces right side up, it’s called smooth. If it faces down side up, it’s called rough.”

“Too bad, it’s rough,” Momoshiro said. “Well, I’ll let you serve, but I’ll take this court.”

“Momoshiro-senpai, don’t you want to serve first?” Horio asked loudly. “You won the toss.”

“I want to see the Twist Serve right away,” the elder said with his usual grin.

“Momoshiro-senpai, you’re so cool!”

“Call me Momo-chan,” Momoshiro said in a warm voice.

“I can’t call you that!….Can I be the umpire?”

“Go ahead,” Momoshiro shrugged.

Horio eagerly climbed up the ladder and sat on the chair. He cleared his throat and began. “Er…and now, the game between Momoshiro-senpai and Echizen will begin. The referee will be me, Horio, who has two years of tennis experience–”

“Forget about all that and begin the game!” yelled the annoying girl from outside the courts. Continue reading

crizarah: Ohayo minna-san! I’m back and updating…per Rea’s request… (Keep this a secret: I’m being held hostage in their house right now…somebody, help!) This is the continuation of Chapter One. Most of you would call it Chapter Two, but noooo, Rea wants to call it Chapter 1.2…

Rea: Any problems with that? (crizarah hastily shakes head) Meh, it’s kind of boring and sad to write a fic that so few people give reviews to. Poor me…

crizarah: What do you mean you??

Rea: To those who’ve already read this fanfic, I take flames –

crizarah: At least we have one thing we agree upon…But…She’s going to blame it on me -.-;;

Rea: (pushing crizarah aside) – but I loooooooveeee reviews, especially the positive ones.

crizarah: It’s called: “constructive criticism”

Both: Special thanks to Kouyan, the only one who has reviewed so far that we aren’t affiliated to personally, for doing so. Thanks so much! Anyway, ON WITH THE STORY!

I approached the small group of Regulars, just in time to see him shrugging off his senpai-tachi. I skimmed my hand over his shoulders and, making sure to use a positively lower, silkier and effeminate voice, said, “Saa, that hurts…Could it be that you’ve forgotten the name…”

Fighting not to burst out laughing and spoil the whole thing, I bent nearer to his ear. “Ha-nnah Su-no-“

I was rudely interrupted by his gasping. His head turned sharply into my direction and very nearly hit me. “Hannah…?”

I burst out laughing. “Mwahahahah!! I got ya there, didn’t I?”

His golden orbs narrowed suspiciously. “Why are you here?”

I sobered up. “Strictly confidential.” Ten seconds later, I was laughing again – but this time, with him; or rather, I was laughing and he was…sweatdropp-ing.

(Regulars’ POV)

What the heck are they talking about??

(Hannah’s POV)

It was a long time before I could stop myself and talk without breaking out into another fit of laughter. By that time, I was sure a lot of people were puzzled by our actions and words. Ah well, who cares?

Apparently, somebody does because I was given a whack on the head by…

“Buchou?!”

The Regulars gawked at their captain, while the aforementioned just coughed and dusted himself off discreetly. Turning back to me he said, “That will be the end of it.”

My smile got deteriorated one notch and I got busy racking my brains out with thoughts that would have shamed light at the speed they were flowing in and out of it.

How come Ryoma didn’t recognize me and he did? Was there a flaw I didn’t notice?

While I turned into chibi form, my arms flailing around wildly, the rest were busy with their own conversations.

(Regulars’ POV)

Tezuka…whacked a girl?! Unbelievable! He wouldn’t even do that to us! He hasn’t done that to anybody yet, or at least as far as we’ve known him…Is he going through some phase? As his best friend and the fuku-buchou, should I help out? Maybe I should…I’ll talk to him…I should… – (Guess who)

What is up with this girl? The two most stoic people on this team are affected…I should get more data on her…It would be good to have much information on her… -(Again, guess who)

Buchou…? I’d have traded my bandana first before believing that he would be capable of doing that to a girl… – (Pssshhh…)

(Hannah’s POV)

I froze in midair, still in my chibi form, when I noticed something: everyone was looking at me. “Eh? Nani?”

Tezuka was burying his face in his palm, sighing in resignation. “…Hannah…Near the locker room. Now.”

I stuck my tongue out. “Hai, hai…”

At the locker room…

Not inside the locker room, you pervs!

“Doushite?” I asked nonchalantly. “What’s this tété a tété all about?”

Whapack! “Do. Not. Trouble. Or. Distract. The. Minds. Of. Our. Players.” He handed me the clipboard he whacked me with. “Sorry.”

I brightened up. “Am I supposed to hit back?”

I was rewarded with another hit on the head.

(Regulars’ POV)

We were appalled to see that Tezuka had hit the new manager – again, and twice. What’s next? She’d hit him back? Nobody in their right mind would do that.

Spoke too soon. Continue reading

Never-ending Promise Chapter 01

Chapter One: Encounter with the Juniors!

“What’s this?” Hayato asked, turning the open magazine which lay on Akari’s desk. It was the current month’s Pro Tennis Magazine issue.

“Joint Special. Back to the 80’s. Japan’s Golden Age,” he read out loud. The article had some pictures of a man with long brown hair with a white band of cloth tied around his forehead.

“An article written by Inoue Mamoru.” Akari passed a glance over the article. “Don’t you have to go to class?”

“You do too,” he remarked and they both got ready.

The walk to school was silent, as usual, but both enjoyed the serenity of it. It was dark, but Akari was walking with eyes half-closed. They separated and Akari went to the locker area before going to the classroom.

Almost everyone’s head turned to see who had entered. Lucky enough, there were only few, it being only six fifteen in the morning. The people were intrigued when they saw the new student.

They had enough reason to be, honestly, for Akari’s butt-length straight lavender hair was laid down, going over the sleeves of a gakuran (military-style male uniform) and framing a fine-featured face.

“Is she a he or is he a she?” came across the room as the figure walked to the farthest corner, nearest the window. Even as Akari sat down and retrieved a book form the bag beside the chair, the looks would not stop.

Nobody noticed the lingering smirk on lips hidden behind the pages of a book. Continue reading

Summary: Hannah Sonozaki is a transfer student from Italy. In her stay in Seigaku, she becomes the temporary manager of the Boys’ Tennis Club, and something more. Little did they know that she has certain connections to a certain buchou…

Author’s Note: This story isn’t mine. It’s Rea Ysabelle’s. I’m just writing it for her, but the plot is co-written with me. And she…is now behind me. 🙂 Oh, and keep in mind that I’m currently working on other fics so I won’t be updating as much…That is added to the fact that our computer is broken (damn thing…)

…Rea!! Let me work!…

(Hannah’s POV)

Seishun Gakuen…better than Hyotei?

Hnh, I guess it’ll do. No, scratch that; it’ll have to do. Don’t ask me why, I’m not in the mood to answer such questions.

Flicking imaginary dust from the collar of my shirt, I walked languidly through the corridors. Through the wide windows, I could see several students going about their clubs’ activities. My gaze lingered for a moment at the grassy tennis courts before resuming their scrutiny of the area.

‘It doesn’t seem bad,’ I thought with a shrug and made my way to the principal’s office. I was only half-listening to what he was saying when I got there; I was paying more attention to the pink sweat suit-clad woman beside him. “Ishikawa Hiroyuki-san, can I go with Ryuzaki-sensei now?”

The woman’s lips quirked. “Cocky as ever, eh, Hannah?”

“I have the right to be,” I smirked, crossing my arms in front of my chest. Suddenly, a grin spread on my face and I held up a peace sign. “Just kidding.”

She sweatdropped. ‘And still as unpredictable as ever…’ Continue reading

A/N: Ohohoho…Here I am with the (hopefully) final revised chapters…I’m sorry, I got really caught up with other stuff…

For the new readers, welcome. The story hasn’t been told yet and I sure hope you’ll find this interesting enough to keep on reading. Of course, reviews are greatly appreciated (to the point that they’re the ones used for living XD)

To what I would want to call as the “patrons”, welcome back.

Story Prologue

Never Ending Promise

A girl was thrown forward, her short lilac hair brushing against her cheeks. Her lips were still bleeding from the punch she had gotten from those bullies. Already in grade school and still the object to beat up. It was always the same. They would get into large groups, corner her and beat her up until she gave them the answers to that day’s homework.

Which she never did.

That was why she always ended up a bloody pulp. What did they take her for, an idiot? Why would she give them her homework? Not because she was a few years younger meant they could do everything they wanted.

The dastards snatched her bag and emptied it out on the ground. A wry smile played upon the girl’s lips when they only found pens, paper and an extra notebook. One of them saw her and kicked her gut hard. She shut her eyes, willing her tear ducts be inactive but failing.

“Where’s your homework?” their apparent leader asked.

Another wry smile accompanied her curt reply. “It’s what’s holding you up.”

After a few more beatings, she had finally outsmarted them by doing all of her homework at school and leaving them all in her locker. Since she was the sole person with knowledge of her locker combination, the bullies had no access to her homework. Not that they were even smart enough to find out what she was doing.

They grunted and kicked her all the more.

“Get away from her!” Continue reading

Oh Look! Flying Snitches! Err, I Meant Flying Hints!

For anyone who was brave, masochistic, or insane enough to read the post  before this, you might have noticed several references to a certain fandom. I’m working on that one right now; it’s mostly still in my head with the rest of the junk to be found there, but I have a bit actually written out on paper. I haven’t decided yet if I’ll be uploading the semi-corrected version of my long-dormant fic or writing the two that I have yet to start doing on paper. There are three almost sure fandoms, by the way. You can check out the tags or categories if you’re interested. Most of the stories have OCs (Original Characters) as that was what I first started writing with, but I think I can write canon pairings. Specially pairings I rather like myself. Hopefully, these only turn out to be a little out of character (OOC) such that it’s negligible or acceptable.

I can’t wait for the weekend to post…err, actually, I don’t know which one I’ll be posting (or actually completing, for that matter) yet. But I will hopefully post some fiction by then. Let’s all hope that this won’t turn out to be another “two-month” wait.

Here’s to fanfiction and efforts against procrastination!
